Owner/General Manager

I have been playing sports my entire life and knew at a young age that my career was going to be in sports. I have over 14 years of experience in creating, managing, and leading sports programs, leagues, tournaments, and camps for kids, teens, and adults. Besides watching my 3 kids succeed in sports, one of the pure joys in my life is watching one of my athletes learn a new skill and grow as an athlete, but especially as a person. Seeing the smile on a childs face after achieving a goal, is one of the reasons I started Space Coast Youth Sports.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Why 3 on 3 Basketball?

In 3 on 3 basketball, players get to touch the ball more, players get more room to operate because there are less players on the court, players get to learn the game in a stress free environment, and get more opportunity to be social with their friends. If you think about it, 3 on 3 half-court makes a lot of sense. It will improve a young players long term development and prepare them for 5 on 5 full court.

  • How old does my child have to be to start playing sports?

Starting your child in sports at a young age has countless benefits which include improving motor skills, social skills, communication skills, and learning team unity. Our programs focus heavily on player development and prioritize social development as well as connecting sports with education in the classroom.

  • When is the registration period?

We provide year round sports programs and take full advantage of our great Florida weather. Whether we are in side or outside, there is always a sport program available for your child.

  • What is included in the Start Smart registration fee?

All Start Smart programs come with a sports kit that includes the specific sport equipment used in the program and program manual to use at home. We want all our athletes to be equipped with the proper equipment to use in our programs, and at home.

  • How can I register my child?

You can register your child for Playball, Start Smart, S.A.F.E Archery, and our leagues on our Program page or contact us directly.
